BK IMPORT CO., LTD. operates the Maison BK online store ("Maison BK", "we", "us"). We respect your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data in accordance with the Thai Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) ("PDPA").

1. Data controller

2. Data we collect

Identity and contact details: first name, last name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address.
Order details: products ordered, delivery or pick-up choice, order history, messages you send us.
Payment details: payments are processed by our payment providers. We do not store your full card details.
Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, collected through cookies (see section 9).

We do not collect sensitive data and we do not sell your personal data.

3. Why we use your data (purposes and legal bases)

To process and deliver your order, arrange pick-up and provide customer service (performance of a contract, PDPA Section 24(3)).
To issue invoices and keep accounting records (legal obligation, Section 24(6)).
To send you news and offers by email, LINE or other channels, only if you have agreed to it (consent, Section 19). You can withdraw your consent at any time.
To keep our store secure, prevent fraud and improve our services (legitimate interest, Section 24(5)).

4. Who receives your data

Your data is used by the Maison BK team and shared only with service providers acting on our behalf and bound by confidentiality:

our e-commerce platform and hosting provider (Shopify);
payment providers;
delivery partners and our Click & Collect partner stores, limited to what is needed for your order;
email and messaging tools (Google Workspace, LINE);
our accounting and logistics providers.

We may also disclose data when required by Thai law or a competent authority.

5. International transfers

Some of these providers store data on servers outside Thailand. In that case we rely on providers that offer appropriate data protection safeguards, in line with Sections 28 and 29 of the PDPA.

6. How long we keep your data

Customer and order data: for the duration of our relationship, then as long as required by Thai accounting and tax laws.
Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.
Abandoned carts and technical data: no longer than necessary for their purpose.

7. Your rights

Under the PDPA, you have the right to access and obtain a copy of your data, to request its correction, deletion or anonymisation, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a readable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email contact@bkimport-th.com. We will reply within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) of Thailand.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Payments are encrypted by our payment providers.

9. Cookies

Our store uses cookies needed for it to work (cart, checkout, security) and statistics cookies that help us understand how the store is used. You can manage cookies in your browser settings and through the cookie banner where available.
